Throughout a professional career of 25 years since 2001 that brings together technical expertise, investment vision and an entrepreneurial perspective, Ömer Kaşıkcı is one of the leading names in real estate valuation, land development and investment advisory in Türkiye.
A graduate in Surveying Engineering from Yıldız Technical University, Kaşıkcı is among Türkiye’s first Licensed Valuation Experts (Capital Markets Board of Türkiye, SPK) and is also one of the founding partners of one of Türkiye’s leading corporate valuation companies, licensed by the SPK and the BDDK (Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency), operating in around 60 provinces across the country. Throughout his career he has led numerous projects that contributed to the institutionalisation of the sector and its alignment with international standards.
His areas of expertise cover surveying engineering, real estate valuation, appraisal, zoning and urban planning, strategic land development, investment analysis, project development and land development for solar (GES) investments. He combines his technical expertise not only with determining current value but also with strategic analyses that anticipate future investment potential, creating long-term value for investors.
For about 15 years, as a Surveying Engineer and Licensed Valuation Expert (SPK) at the İzmir Courthouse, Kaşıkcı served as a court-appointed expert in numerous cases on expropriation, zoning, ownership and valuation, contributing to judicial proceedings with his technical opinions.
Bringing his professional knowledge to academic and industry platforms as well, Kaşıkcı gives training and senior-level seminars at leading institutions and companies in Türkiye on plot and land development, valuation, zoning practice, project development and real estate investment.
Also active in major international projects, Kaşıkcı successfully managed, for a bank with Kazakh shareholding, the valuation of around 1,000 properties in Almaty, Kazakhstan; in addition, together with his partners, he realised two industrial investments in Gostivar and Skopje, North Macedonia, taking an active role in international investment and project development.
Today, under MEGA Yatırım Çeşme, which he founded, he develops high value-added real estate projects, provides strategic advisory to investors and focuses in particular on land and project investments with value-growth potential on the Çeşme Peninsula, in the Aegean Region and across Türkiye.
